I’ve always thought this girl’s name was “Jamie L,” you know, like the letter…but I guess she spells it out! How funny! Anyways, putting aside my brainmelt there, I’ve noticed there are other things…other things with names that we use every day, which in fact aren’t the things real names after all…Like what do you put on a small cut that’s bleeding?....a Band-Aid, right? Well, yeah, but that’s a brand name! You just put a bandage on your cut, you sissy! Or what do you wipe your nose with when you sneeze or have a runny nose?....a Kleenex, right? WRONG! It’s just a tissue! Kleenex is the brand name!
